Belated Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to All!

Hello everybody! Happy New Year to all… I wanna say sorry to all anonymous bloggers who visited my blog and wants my puto cheese recipe specially to the one who wants my recipe before new year. I read your comments just now. I’m so sorry. I wanted to help you but its too late now obviously hehe…. I wanna thank you for liking my recipe specially my puto cheese.. there are lots of reasons kung bakit hindi tutubo ang puto cheese, one is yong egg tsaka sa pag mix din. There’s time limit in mixing the batter to achieve a perfect batter. Don’t mix the batter for more than 5 mins. And you should be careful in sparating the egg whites and egg yolk. If you drop a tiny amount of yellow in your whites tapos ang white mo palpak lahat that’s why hindi tutubo yan. Its like you are making a cake in this recipe too so all the ingredients should be accurate and nasa timing lang talaga. Normal lng na palpak ang recipe mo frst pero makukuha mo rin yan just keep on trying until makukuha mo nang tama.

Happy cooking everyone!

Good to be back!

Merry Christmas to all! Its been a year I haven’t updated my blog. Now I’m happy to be back here. Oh how days fly by so fast. Few days from now and it will be Christmas. I hate Christmas because for the second time in 2 years I don’t celebrate my Christmas and special occasions with my husband. (Sigh) He’s too far away from me now. Me and my husband are one example of a long distance relationship. He’s a Canadian and I’m a Filipina, got married last year. Still processing our paper in the Canadian Embassy but hopefully soon we will be together again.

I'm so excited to post new recipe's here again soon. I miss cooking and baking... but sad to say my mixer is broken. But that wont stop me from making pastries and cakes! be happy everyone!

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year Everyone!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all!! Hope you enjoy your Christmas together with your love one's and family. To me its the loneliest christmas I ever felt in my entire life because my husband is not here to celebrate with me. But still happy in a way that my family is here, we had a party last x'mas day. I'm happy because they liked what I prepared for them. I made a macaroni salad, springroll, chicken with black bean sauce, etc., and one of my favorite thing to do, a butter cake with mango toppings and strawberry cream. I'm gonna share to you the desserts that I made.

If anyone wants my recipe, feel free to drop me a message here, I would love to share it with you.

The Big Moment of my life

My tiger (thats what I call my boyfriend) and I just got married last September 25, 2009. When I think about the hardships that we went through before we got married specially the preparations, we just laugh at it. There's this time that I thought we cant get married in the church because of some complications in his part. And there are times that I almost give up because of my being so uptight with my religion.. But finally we did it. Until now I still can’t believe that we are married already. Thanks to God and our continued prayers, everything just went smoothly on our wedding day though its not perfect, there are problems along the way but I can say is that I got what I always dream of when I get married.

My Bachelorrettes days are over....all the happy go lucky days are gone now. I’m excited to start the new chapter of my life with my husband though I’m a little nervous of what future is ahead of us. But my husband and I are confident to take challenges and trials will come along the way, though prayers, trust, and our love each other, we will do this.

I want to thank my family who really helped me and encourage me everyday. If not for them we would not get married in the church where I always dream of walking in the isle of the church through the altar.

To my baby…. I love you and I always trust you and help you in any way I can and be with you as long as I live. ‘Till do us part. And I’m proud to be Mrs. Delia Jureskin.

If anyone here in Davao del sur specially Digos City needs a nice and trustworthy catering service, I can recommend Roding’s Food Service… They make a good service and make good food specially cakes. They are not the same catering service that are corrupt.. I mean you don’t get the amount of food that is intended for you budget. But with them, you can even take home all the extra and left over foods. And they make a nice and decent reception too. You can click this friendster.com to contact them.

Happy Father's Day to all Father's out there!

This is my one and only wonderful father, Mr. Celedonio Yborde. Papa is a cool and loving father to us and a good husband to my mother, so thoughtful and kind to his friends and relatives. A family oriented and a very religious man. He always supports us and helps us in anything we do. He is a type of guy that is not so complicated, he makes friends to everybody. He always love to have a dinner together with family and talk about everything specially politics and religion, and sometimes joke around and just laughing together etc… And he loves to go outing together with the family.

Words cant express how I love and thank him and of course mama too. Not so long ago I was a little headache to them specially to papa hehe... and there were times that i got mad at him and mama for you know... interfering with my lovelife hehe... But of course parents are always right... and I wanna thank them for that. I remember before when we were kids, he was so strict to us, there were times before that we were not so close to us back then, because he likes to discipline us hehe.... but we would not be where we are now if not for papa and mama's guidance and discipline and love.

Even though you are not that so wise and keen and smart as before as in your younger years pa but still, we love you so much. Me and my sisters and brothers are so lucky to have a special father like you. We hope and pray that God will give you more strength and good health always…. HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!! We love you….. muahhh……

Perfumes and Colognes

I’m so glad I’m back here again in my blog.. I was so busy in my little business and my teaching career here for the past few months. Now that its summer here in the Philippines, meaning no class, no work, its vacation time!

Hmm… when you say summer here in my country, my gosh its super, super hot here…. You always love to go to a place where its cold or has an air conditions like shopping malls and other place where you can relax and have a good time like the beach and swimming pools etc. And you love to take a bath 2 or 3 times a day, and put lots and lots of colognes and powder to feel fresh and smell good..

Hmm.. speaking of perfumes and colognes, whole page is not enough for me to write about it because I do love to collect colognes and perfumes. I found this helpful link, www.scent.com, its all about colognes and perfumes that you can choose to buy. Hmm….. This means its time for me to add my collection again hehe… if i'm going to buy a perfume or a cologne for myself i want a very mild scent and not an over powering one, as i am allergic to an overwhelming odor, i cant stand with a strong scent my asthma will react fast. You can tell i am so picky with my scent but there's one perfume that i really like, it was from my sister actually, her husband gave it to her as a gift, its Sarah Jessica Parker a limited edition from Lovely. I really like the smell, its so feminine, i never forget the scent, its sweet and floral, what I love about it is that its mild and yet its a kind of scent that it wont disappear after an hour, a scent that smelled by others too not just you and it stays in your skin whole day and even if you wash your clothes you still can smell it, a scent that you wont have a teary eyes if you spray it in yourself, or you wont sneeze when you smell it. I am lucky enough that i have it right now, I just wear it for a special occasion.

And there’s this one cologne for men that I really love, my boyfriend always wear it when he’s with me….its a cool water from Davidoff. Hmm….. he smells yummy! Hehe… I like it because its not so overpowering, and a very relaxing scent.

And I have my favorite colognes too…Actually I have lots of brands that I like, the Dolce & Gabanna,Giorgio Armani,Davidoff etc.. but there’s one flavor from Victoria’s Secret that I really love, a pear flavor. I like the scent of it because its so sweet and not too strong scent and it will last for whole day. And my other favorite cologne is a splash cologne from Sarah Lee, so cool and very mild scent but it will last for whole day too.And yet its not so expensive. I love to wear colognes everyday because it really makes me feel fresh and smells good, and so cool to my skin. And when I wear perfumes it makes me feel sexy and yummy hehe….

Buy a cologne that suits your kind of smell, and your personality. Lots of perfumes and colognes today that will express your moods...so go go go.. and express it with your kind of scent today!

Enjoy your summer!

After almost a year of being engaged, celebrity couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo finally tied the knot early Tuesday morning, April 28 at San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas.

The private ceremony, which was closed to the media, started at around 7 a.m. and ended after an hour.

The wedding was officiated by Fr. Tito Caluag, the couple's spiritual adviser.

The couple's principal sponsors include -- Mon Isberto, Smart Communications spokesman; Bien Bautista, Ace photographer; Benjie Gonzales, Ryan's uncle from the US; Susie Entrata-Abrera, TV Host; Rory Quintos, TV & Movie Director; and Jane Buencamino, Judy Ann's road manager.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Santos' "sister-in-showbiz", was the matron of honor while Agoncillo's brother, Dondi, stood as best man.

Some of the country's top singers performed during the ceremony. Agot Isidro sang the song "Runaway" while Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid sang "The Prayer" during the offertory.

Isidro and Alcasid performed "One Hand, One Heart" during Communion.

The ceremony was attended by the couples' families and closest friends in and outside showbiz. Spotted at the event were Santos' mother, Carol, Senator Francis Pangilinan, KC Concepcion, Suzy Entrata, Paolo Abrera and directors Joyce Bernal and Rory Quintos.

As of posting time, the newly wed couple and their visitors are headed to an undisclosed private resort for the reception.

As early as last night, the couple and some of their guests were already spotted near the church to make sure that they will be present for the early wedding ceremony.

The couple decided to marry at daybreak to signal the new start in their lives as a married couple.

Agoncillo and Santos were first paired in the teleserye "Krystala" where their romance blossomed. They have starred in two movies together, "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo" and "Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo" -- both of which have been heavy earners at the tills.

Their next project for ABS-CBN is the teleserye "George & Cecil."

Agoncillo proposed marriage to Santos on her 30th birthday last year. They revealed the engagement a month later.

The couple have been mum about the actual date of their wedding with some news reports saying that the wedding was scheduled on May 2.

Santos earlier said they plan to go to Mexico for their honeymoon, according to an SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon report.

Santos, who turns 31 on May 11, has an adopted daughter named Johanna Lois or Yohan.

Congratulations to the newly weds!!! I pray that your marriage will last for a lifetime.

My Scrappy

This is my dog Scrappy, a mix breed of dutchand and native dog. I can't explain how important he is to me because, this dog is a very loyal, so sweet and a good guard dog, whenever my motorcycle, or my jeepy parked outside the gate of our house and or specially when i parked it beside the road near our house, and even papa's car, he will be there to guard it 24 hrs a day, rain or shine he will really guard it with his life. He will really protect our property. During at night he is our knight in shining armor. Even if sometimes his barks are so annoying already hehe... And whenever when we go out, he will guard the house no matter what. Oh I really cant find a dog like my scrappy. He is really one of a kind.

It was a sad sad sad weekend for me because he just died last Saturday. Until now I still dont know the cause of his death. But me and my family's assessment of the cause of his death is that he was got hit by a car here. I feel so frustrated and I really cried that day because I was not here when it happened, I was in Davao doing my teaching job that day. I remember that day when my maid texted me and told me what happened, I was so mad at her and to other people in the house because of what happened to scrappy. Until now I still cant forget my Scrappy specially when every morning I go to jog with him and my other dog Raven. I will really miss him.

Sovereignty and globalisation

I found this interesting site to read, its about Sovereignty and globalisation. it talks about the sovereignty and the global crisis today. thats why these powerful people proposed that its good for the world to unite and follow only 1 rule for every nation in the world and form a new world order.

Would you agree with this one world order? meaning no sovereignty or we dont have power to rule our own country, we only have one rule for all the countries in the world and is ruled by these elite people. In my opinion, I think its not good to to have a one world order, because you know we cant control our own country anymore, thats scary because anything can happen to us. Maybe this will be the start of the 666 government. My gosh what will happen to our children's future? Hope you read this....

Special Students

When you look at the picture here, who could say that they are different? Well they are not different than the other people but in fact they are special people, they are the the Hearing Impaired students (meaning they are deaf and mute students) . They are my college students in a Systems Technology Institute College of Davao City. I'm teaching them the basic computers and other subjects as well. I really enjoy watching them and or joining them in their conversations through their sign language, they have fun with each other. You know its nice to watch them because they are more close and very friendly with each other. Specially when you get to know them. they are more friendly than the normal people.

I learned the sign language because I have a sister who is a Hearing Impaired too. In this second picture is my sister Felicel, who is a teacher now in a Special Education school in Davao city. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education In Laguna. She's more beautiful and petite and taller than me tsk tsk.. hehe... Before when she was small my other sister dina and I used to teach her some sign language that we learned, but now she is my teacher now specially in sign language that I didn't learned before. She helps me a lot with my job now as a teacher. My family and I are so happy because she is stable now. She has a job and can stand with her own feet now, though sometimes she still asks money to my parents but she's ok now.

You know I hate it when there are normal people would laugh at them or treat then not nice and specially when they make fun at them. Well... they are the one's not not normal than the special people like the hearing impaired people.

If you happened to see one of the hearing impaired people, try to befriend with them, they are more than happy to give back your kindness to them, and definitely you will enjoy their company.

3 Weeks with my Tiger

My tiger visited me last Sept. 20 until Oct. 9, he stayed here for 3 weeks. I cant express how happy I am for the last 3 weeks passed that he was here. But double the pain I felt now that he's back in Canada. I hate this long distance relationship but what can I do? I happened to love a man from a thousand miles from here. Even my tiger suffered too. Oh well, this is our choice so we have to bear it and have patience for the right time to be with each other for a long time.

In his second visit,we experienced lots of revelations with ourselves, our likes and dislikes with each other...but definitely we had fun.I'm so glad we experienced it because through that our relationship became stronger.

Hopefully soon, if God permits and if the Canadian Embassy will allow me, I can visit him.
